Module Evaluation
At first I didn't like this module because of its strong academic nature
but it grew on me once I got stuck in, I found writing the essay quite hard
but enjoyable and proud when on a roll and especially when I finished.
I think this module went well but I did not manage my time very well and
I feel this could of let me down, I wish I had managed my time better for this
module and intend to improve on this next year so I am not in same position again.
Creating the practical side was difficult at first but once Igot some ideas it
really flew off the page I'm really proud of my essay and my practical I do
think I could of possibly improved it but at the present time it is not possible
with the time left. I would definitely like to improve my english skills and
learning to design alongside the next essay better.
Overall I enjoyed this module especially the practical side it give me freedom
in my own design which is not as easy to do in a studio brief!

OUGD401 Final Outcome & Analysis
Here is my final resolution I created a brand to represent healthy eating
it is indirectly aimed at teens to do this I have considered packaging
and where the product would be sold. I have invented 3 fruit juices
with a simple individual logo change (fruit shapes) I used gill sans as
the typeface. The reason for glass bottles is to make it relatable to alcohol
teenagers often want something they can't have and alcohol is certainly
one of those things a good example of a fruit juice that has a similar effect
is J2O, to make the product successful it should be sold in pubs but
also be accessible to teenagers through supermarkets etc. I feel the branding
for the Fresh. is strong and could easily be used in real life it would
be interesting to test this on young adults as to see wether they would
find it rebellious to drink/buy. With my logo I created some supporting
material to show how versatile my design is it could be placed on other
healthy related products such as juice, fruit, veg and so on the range
could be expandable. When asking my peers they felt the design was
aimed towards older teenagers around our age 18/19 etc. by designing
towards this market it indirectly becomes popular to younger children.
OUGD401 Developments
Rather then annotating all these images individually I will
explain as a whole, here are some of my developed designs
which I have printed to test weather they would work on
coloured juice bottles etc. I have created several sized lables
all for different sized bottles to show how versatile the design
is from asking my peers they preferred out of th developed designs
the clear labels and the white labels with coloured text because
it is the most legible.
